All YOU wanna know about JEANS !!! (Types of Jeans for Men)

I am sure you Men feel ignored.. Don't feel bad.. I have now come up with updates for you as well. So here it goes. You must also be wondering after the blog for women about the types of jeans for them, that what are we supposed to look for/ at. Here it goes.

CUTS

Boot-cut jeans: These are the slim cut fits closely but not tightly fitted to the leg with a slight flare towards the leg opening. They are perfect for all kinds of bodies as they balance the shape.

Relaxed fit/ Baggy jeans: They are loosely cut from waist to leg opening. Best for heavy men as it hides all the bulges and curves. Skinny men should avoid these as they might look sloppy on skinny legs,

Skinny jeans: These are a big risk for many men but look hip if worn on the right guy. The ultra fitting cut makes average to heavy body types even larger. It should be reserved for the twiggy shaped bodies.

Slim fit.: These are for the men who want the hipster style jeans in their wardrobe but do not make the cut weight. They are similar in style as skinny jeans but not to the fitting extreme.

Straight cut: These are the jeans in between the two extremes. Neither tapered or too loose on body. Its the classic looking jeans.

RISES

Low-rise: These fall below the belly button, low on the waist. These are tight at the belly for the perfect fit, so, if you have a curvy stomach then its a big no no.

Medium-rise: If you feel uncomfortable with the hip-hugging low-rise jeans, but want to look trendy, then medium rise is the one for you. It is not too below your belly button but doesn't extend to rib cage either.

High-waisted: These sit above the belly button and are a perfect choice for heavier men with fuller stomachs as it hides the extra pounds.

WASHES

Washed denim: These are dark colored jeans, washed after manufacturing to get rid of excess dyes.

Raw denim: These are the jeans dyed but not washed after manufacturing. It naturally fades with the washes, giving it a new look every time its washed.

Acid wash: These are chemically processed denim that strips the top layer of color off to a white surface with the undertones of true color remaining in the jeans. It was very famous in 1980's. It is a risk to wear. If worn sensibly looks very trendy but at other times can cause complete humiliation. It looks great with a solid-color short sleeved shirt.

Dirty wash: These jeans have a well worn look. Dirty wash combines the dark blues with slight yellow or brown tinting creating distressed jeans with a worn-in appearance.

Stone wash: These are classic yet a vital part of every man's wardrobe. These are pre-washed, worn out jeans giving a total classy casual look.

Vintage wash/ Distressed jeans:
These are everyone's favorite worn-in jeans. They have a slight look of wear. They go with a wide variety of shirts but shines with a retro-style long sleeved shirt.

Trying out new combinations with jeans in a less formal setting is a great idea. Go Girl and update your wardrobe instantly with a few combinations I am putting down here..

Boyfriend Blazer

Try on a Boyfriend Blazer

It is a great idea to try on a structured blazer with a sleek pair of jeans. Give it a classic look with a Black Jacket with a dark denim pair of jeans. Just upgrade your acid washed pair or a light colored jean with a bright color or white tuxedo design. A perfect match is made when you match light with light colors while dark with dark.

Sequin Top
Get a Shimmering Look

Shimmering look is always a best outfit upgrade. Embrace sequins!! Try on bolder sequined piece if you are a risk taker. A more appreciating and understanding look would be to pull down a shimmery tank with or without a cropped jacket.

Ruffled Sweater
Throw on a cardigan

Sweaters with crafty details surely dress up denims well. Try on embellished sweaters or ruffles. Think about beading over the tanks, giving exclusive charm to your style.

Silk Blouse

Feminine look with Silk

Silk always works out perfect. A sweet silk blouse will give your jeans a feminine feel. Look and shop for tops with appealing patterns or intricate necklines. In a formal setting, accompany silk blouses with dark washed pair of jeans.

Light Leather Jacket
Leather jacket are fun to wear

Upgrade your jeans with a T-shirt and a cropped leather jacket for a luxurious twist. Heavy jackets are a big NO, so go for the lighter ones in soft skin colors, like grey, brown or black. Too give it a more feminine feel, match it with a beautiful pair of heels and/or a funky hand bag.

Button Down Shirt

Button-down shirts- a crispy look

In a formal setting, go for a button down shirt, a never failing trick. Tuck in a light colored blouse into a matching pair of skinny jeans, add chic heels with a decent bag for an upgraded look. On the other hand try a patterned button down shirt with a pair of boots and bright satchel.
